Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 8/2/2013 Morning Show

1. Romans 9 talks about how God hardens some of the Jews’ hearts, so that He shows mercy to some and chooses to harden the hearts of others so that they refuse to listen; why does God do this?  In Romans 11:7 it states “Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.”  Does God choose some because He has accepted them, or do they choose Him first? Sometimes Paul talks about how God converted the Gentiles to make the Jews jealous; how does that fit in with what you were referring to? If the Jews had not rejected God would God have not have gone after the Gentiles and offered them light?

2. How do I go about trying to help some Mormons understand the truth in regard to the Trinity?

3. Ephesians 3:21 says “to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.”  Is this a good verse to use to cut through any dispensational thinking that the Church is something temporary here on the earth and then He goes back to His former love, Israel?
