Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 7/29/2013 Afternoon Show

  1. How do I answer someone who wants to know Jesus but hasn’t been able to “connect”?
  2. When the Bible says that God wants to be worshiped in spirit and in truth (John 4:23), I understand the truth part, but what does it mean to worship Him in spirit? And what does it look like to be not worshiping in spirit and in truth?
  3. Do you understand speaking in tongues as pertaining to the baptism of the Holy Spirit and can you share your testimony in regard to that?
  4. Caller asks for help in struggling with doubts over faith.
  5. Caller asked for an opinion on whether he should stay at a church where the pastor does not teach on the book of Revelation because it’s interpretation is controversial, and because the church seems to be geared toward new Christians and seekers, not more mature Christians.
  6. Do you know anything about the claim that there are various religions more ancient than Christianity that have the same claims that they make about their god that Christians do (such as the virgin birth, miracles, crucifixion, and resurrection) and that Christianity was based on them?  In answering this question Steve refers the caller to a couple of videos on Youtube where he addresses this issue in response to a movie called Zeitgeist (links available here): Zeitgeist: the Movie Refuted – Part 1 of 2 – by Steve Gregg      Zeitgeist: the Movie Refuted – Part 2 of 2 – by Steve Gregg
