Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 7/26/2013 Afternoon Show:

  1. What do you think the nature of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is? Is it true that there would have been no evil before Satan was created?  What is the nature of evil and where did it come from?
  2. In Luke 24 when Jesus appeared for the first time after His resurrection it says there were 11 disciples present, while in John it says that Thomas was missing; how do you reconcile this?
  3. Do you believe that David Wilkerson was a true prophet? Is it possible for a man of God to die in a tragic way (as David Wilkerson died in a car accident)?
  4. Romans 16:20 states “And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.”  Is that just Paul giving his opinion of what would happen?
  5. Why is it that when you go to church that you are obligated to sign up for membership? Is there a scripture about that?
  6. Caller had comments about church membership and requirements for the State of Oregon.  What are some ways to help children today view the role of fatherhood and God being our Father, in light of how the culture views the role of fathers today?
  7. 1 Peter 3:19-20 states “by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.”  What does this mean when it’s referring to the spirits? And there is a similar passage in 1 Peter 4:6 that states “For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.”  Once you die, is that it, or do you have another opportunity to repent?
  8. What would have happened if Adam and Eve had eaten from the Tree of Life before they ever ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, so that they would have lived for ever even if they had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil afterwards?  If Adam and Eve had not sinned then Jesus would not have had to come into the world, right?
