Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 7/24/2013 – Morning Show

  1. Is it true that 1 John 5:7, which states “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one”  was added later, as a footnote states?  Is this verse really questionable or is that just a claim made by liberal scholars? Are they any other verses that you are aware of that are to be looked at with a grain of salt (i.e., are questionable as to whether they were in the original manuscripts)?
  2. Do you agree that all followers of Christ, Christians, have an obligation to spread the Gospel?  If we meet a Buddhist, does a Christian have an obligation to tell the Buddhist that Buddhism is a false religion? How do you tell a person that in a respectful manner?
  3. I find predestination hard to accept…how did you come to your conclusion that there is no predestination?  Steve clarifies that there is predestination but explains what the Bible teaches about it.
  4. Are the bodies of Enoch and Elijah, who both did not die, going to be different in the resurrection than those of other Christians who die?
  5. Is it appropriate for a preacher who is divorced to marry a divorced woman?
