Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 7/31/2013 Afternoon Show

  1. I thought I heard you say you don’t believe there is a millennium; is that correct? Caller then had several follow-up questions about the millennium, Revelation 20, Daniel 9, etc.
  2. I get conflicting messages from various preachers and my own reading of the Bible concerning material prosperity.  In your opinion, is it more glorifying to God for a Christian to be rich or to be poor?
  3. Does the Bible say why or why do you think that the Lord picked the Jewish people to come through, that particular heritage, rather than some other race of people (a black race, a white race, Italian or Spanish)?  Is there some reason He specifically decided on the Jews or is that an unknown?
  4. If Jesus drank the cup of God’s wrath for the whole world, will He then basically spew it out on the last day to those who never repented or believed? I was reading Isaiah 51:22-23 and it just seems like that’s His justice.

A couple of callers also called to repent.

What if ads showed you what you would really get...?

In fact, I’ve often wondered if they step on it before they give to you?

Questions asked on The Narrow Path Radio Program hosted by Steve Gregg – 7/31/2013 Morning Show

  1. It sounded to me like the Pope was condoning homosexuality and said that he wouldn’t judge a person because of it; what do you think of that? What does the Bible say about homosexuality? If a Bible teacher condones the practice of homosexuality or fornication, isn’t that person wrong and a false teacher?
  2. I’m seeing a conflict between two accounts of Paul’s conversion experience on the road to Damascus. Acts 9:7 describes his companions on the road as “hearing a voice but seeing no one.” By contrast, Acts 22:9 says that “they saw the light but they did not hear the voice of him who spoke to Paul.”  How would you explain this contradiction?
  3. Caller called to disagree with the idea that the Bible supports the Trinity doctrine.
